Product Review: My sweet tooth accommoDATEd
Would you like to try our chocolate? Um…. YES! I want to try ALL OF THE CHOCOLATE!
When presented with Chocodate around Valentine’s Day I just assumed it was a statement of how chocolate could be your partner. At 41 years single, I mean… it is. However, Chocodate is exactly what it claims to be, chocolate covered dates! Described as a “bite-sized delicacy combining nature’s best dates and almonds under a coat of some of the finest European chocolate!”
Soft and some-what chewy, these little snacks could be dangerous so I shared with my office staff as to not overindulge. We were all surprised with the date covered almond inside. We joyfully tried the Coconut Chocodate as well as an assorted bag that included Milk, White, and Dark Chocodates. I’m a dark chocolate fan and was thrilled that my sweet tooth was accommoDATEd. I always feel less guilty with dark chocolate and the added nutrition of dates and almonds practically makes these a diet food! Right? The Coconut Chocodate was understated as the coconut didn’t overpower the whole bite. The milk chocolate was just as you’d expect but more smooth than most milk chocolate candies.
Chocodate is individually wrapped for freshness makes these an easy treat to take on the go. Available in Philly at your local Wal-Mart. Pricing ranges from $7 – $10 a bag.
